What event features participants crawling over truck tires, swinging (hopefully) from monkey bars over water, and leaping over walls like their pants were on fire? Snag today's Perks Deal and you'll find out on March 2nd, 2013, in Snohomish Washington, for the 1st Annual Fire & Ice 5k Run.
Located at Green Meadow Farms in Snohomish, participants in the Fire & Ice Run will want to come ready for all weather and a gauntlet of more than 15 obstacles that entangle victims along a 3.1 mile race course. Absurdity and fun is the name of the game, so wear your best costumes for all to see as you hurdle walls, crawl through and over obstacles, all to benefit the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance. Bachelors? Single women? All can be found in spades at the Fire & Ice.
Afterwards, Perks members will enjoy a hearty post-race meal and a beer to raise a toast to overcoming the day's obstacles. Perks members can choose from three options:
