This 90-minute session will introduce you to Southeast Asian coffee culture such as kopi luwak (the world’s most unique and expensive coffee) and the endangered liberica “Barako” coffee (of which Heirloom is the only U.S. importer). You’ll learn how to use a French press and Southeast Asian phin filter, a simple stainless steel one-cup drip brewer invented some 140 years ago.
Even though you’ll brew four coffees, the “tasting” servings mean you won’t be over-caffeinated. You’ll walk away with brew-at-home coffee samples, a phin filter and gourmet instant coffee. Attendees will also receive a coupon with a 15% discount for a future purchase or purchase at time of event and a second coupon for a 25% discount to a future Brewology event for a friend.
