The Best Beer History Tour at Pabst Brewery, Two-for-One Admission
Located inside a brick-hewn building reminiscent of a grand castle, the Best Place at the Historic Pabst Brewery recounts the history of the company’s former brewery, which dates back to 1844. Visitors tour Pabst’s corporate offices, take photos with a statue of Captain Frederick Pabst, and of course, enjoy a refreshment or two. See where it all began, bring a friend and get two-for-one admission for the beer-history tour (a $16 value) with today’s Milwaukee Perk!
Tours of the historic Pabst brewery kick off with a pint of Pabst Blue Ribbon, Schlitz, or a non-alcoholic beverage, paired with a viewing of vintage beer commercials. The building’s owner, Jim Haertel, leads groups out to the courtyard to pose for pictures with a statue of Captain Frederick Pabst before heading to the guest center. The tour winds through the former Pabst corporate offices, where Jim recounts the history of the 150-year-old building.
Tours run Thursday at 5:00 p.m. and Friday through Sunday at Noon, 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. No reservation necessary!
