Value Vision Center has been locally owned and operated in Western New York for over 40 years. We believe in and support the local economy by using optical labs in the Buffalo area to fabricate all our prescription eyewear.
Healthy vision is of the upmost importance to our family. Preliminary eye tests including a visual field, visual acuity and glaucoma are completed before the doctor of Optometry performs a comprehensive eye examination. The preliminary tests as well as dilation, if requested or required, is included in our inexpensive examination fee.
Our knowledgeable staff and licensed NYS opticians are members of the United Optical Workers Union – Local 408. We pride ourselves on being experts in all forms of eyewear. Our vast selection of quality dress frames on display are the same affordable, low price EVERYDAY… there are over 1,000 frames for you and your family to choose from!
Value Vision accepts most vision insurance plans. The major medical insurance plans carry a separate vision rider which may include Eyemed Vision Care, Davis Vision, and GHI (Emblem Health), Univera Child Health, Family Health and Med Plus vision programs which we are providers.
Eye examinations by a NYS certified optometrist and contact lens fittings by a licensed NYS contact lens fitter are by appointment at any one of our three convenient locations. However those individuals requiring an ophthalmologist’s attention may bring in their prescription to any one of our offices to have it filled.
