Take the night off and let your child spend the evening at our licensed child care facility. Children aged 2 and a half to 12 will receive a fun and healthy dinner, learn-through-play educational program, light snack and wind down time.
Lifecycle of a Monarch Butterfly
Your child will learn about the amazing Monarch Butterfly that migrates from Canada to Mexico and back again through a multigenerational sense of direction. This program includes live cocoons, live butterflies and take home seeds to start your own plants that will help feed these precious butterflies along their journey.
Social habits we can learn from the Australian Star Finch
There is much to learn from nature and in this program; birds are our teachers when we observe of a colony of Star Finches right here in our own professional aviary.
The life of a Russian Worker Bee (does not have a stinger)
Queen bees, scout bees and worker bees all work together to make honey in this program about teamwork. Including additional study regarding Colony Collapse Disorder and how we can help scientists by observing bees in our own back yard. We will view the bee hive right here on our property and take home seeds to plant for growing Lemon Queen Sunflower’s so that children can continue the learning at home.
