Dive into the basics of underwater exploration with an discover scuba diving session at Seven Seas Scuba. For $15 per person, take part in a 2.5-hour group class at Seven Seas Scuba conveniently located in Vancouver just across the I-205 bridge with a certified instructor, regularly $30. Interested participants who sign up for an Open Water class directly after their session receive $30 off the cost of their future Open Water course.

Participants start off at Seven Seas Scuba with an informational DVD introduction and classroom session filled with how-to tips and basic techniques such as the basics of scuba equipment, ear clearing, and breathing underwater. Participants then travel 5 minutes to the Fisher’s Landing Cascade Athletic Club to discover scuba in a heated Junior Olympic sized pool. Students will then be fitted into dive equipment and hit the pool to experience breathing through a regulator, neutral buoyancy, and swimming underwater.

All dive gear is provided, so just bring a swimsuit and towel. Classes can accommodate up to eight people, so buy multiple vouchers and dive with friends. Must be 10 years old or older to dive.
